From early May to early June of this year, the most commonly used customs systems, such as DMS, AGS, and NCTS, were frequently unavailable. These disruptions were mainly caused by technical failures or scheduled maintenance. As a result, containers were delayed, and shipments were held up. Companies were forced to wait until the issues were resolved or maintenance was completed. Customs is currently working on developing an emergency procedure and expects to start a pilot in July. If the results are positive, this procedure will be further rolled out after the summer.
