The interruptions were mainly caused by technical failures or scheduled maintenance. Containers remained at a standstill and shipments were delayed while businesses waited for systems to return.<\/p>\n<p>Dutch Customs is developing a contingency procedure and expects to start a pilot in July. If the results are positive, the procedure will be rolled out more widely after the summer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Outages in DMS, AGS and NCTS caused customs delays.
